Independence Day Sports Special Week 2021
Bandipore Rugby Association under the aegis of J&K Sport's Council started its District Bandipore Rugby Championship 2021-22 at S.K stadium Bandipur on 10th August 2021. The two-day-long championship will be from 10-11 August and more than 22 teams in both boys and girls, Men and Women have participated.

District Anantnag Rugby Association under the Aegis of J& k Rugby Association sponsored by J&K sports council successfully organized Distt.Anantnag Rugby championship 2021 dated 09 to 10 August 2021at playground Arwani.In this championship, 11 boys teams total 11 teams Participated. The main aim of this championship was to engage the youths of Anantnag in the Rugby Game and instill the spirit of sportsmanship. Inch. large sports stadium Anantnag Mr. Bashir Ahmad was the Chief Guest & Distribute the medals trophies & Cash prizes Distribution to the winners & Runners & appreciated the Rugby players for active participation in the above game. Mr. Hafiz Mohammad Asif was the Guest of honor. Waseem illahi ( secretary Distt.Anantnag Rugby Association. Mr. Mohd Shafi president (South Kashmir), Senior National Rugby player Mir Mujtaba Hafeez And Suneed Ah. (officials) were present in this championship.
In junior middle school, loktipora team are the winners in the boy's age group and the Arwani tigers are the runners. In senior Higher secondary, Arwani club were winners and Blue team are runners.
