For any player, the Olympics would have been a very big dream that he should represent the country. Where players from all over the world like Taekwondo very much and learn this game, then why should India lag behind. In India, this sport is practiced for more than 40 years. Taekwondo was included in the Olympics in the year 2000. In the last 20 years, many players became famous all over the world and many players from India made their name famous not only in their country but also abroad. There were many players in India but for so many years no player could reach his journey till the Olympics. The drought of almost 20 years finally ended for the country of India.
A promising player named Aruna Tanwar came to Dinod, a small village in the Bhiwani district of Haryana. This journey of Aruna was not easy. Aruna did not have two fingers of one hand since childhood. Aruna was very interested in sports since childhood, she never considered the finger of her hand as a weakness but a strength, and this passion her coach saw in her, Aruna's coach trained her in every way. But it is said that nothing happens by just training, in this game competition is also played here. Which is very expensive for any improved family, Aruna's father works as a bus driver in Haryana, it was very difficult for his father in the beginning that he should bear the expenses of Aruna's championship along with the expenses of the house but his daughter To fulfill his dream, his father started working even harder. Here his coach also left no stone unturned in Aruna's training, which resulted in Aruna's coach and her family members. Aruna has represented the state many times in national-level competitions and made her state proud with medals.
When a player performs well at the national level, he has to play the competition level championship of the international level. Which is very expensive but Aruna's family did not give up Mani and Aruna's mother sold her jewelry to her daughter. Seeing this sacrifice of her family members, Aruna thought of fulfilling the dream, Aruna thought of working harder and she decided that she would definitely make India and her family proud and as a result, Aruna won many medals.
2019 5th Asian Para Open Taekwondo Championships G-4/G-2 Amman Jordan Bronze

Now Aruna is eyeing the Olympic podium to create a new history by winning the medal here because to date no Indian Taekwondo player has qualified in the Olympics, who has already made history by doing compassion if their medal comes. So this will make Aruna the first player to make two histories in the same Olympics. Aruna will play her match on September 2 in 49 kg.
